On a medicare.gov/Publications/Pubs/pdf/10116.pdf, I did not find penile implants listed... check for information on asking about items not listed. Is it medically necessary?
Yes.
No, but you may emergency surgery if your penis gets seriously damaged.
I've researched this quite a bit, the only things medi-cal, medicaid, and medicare cover is pulling your teeth out, implants are considered cosmetic. So no they will not cover implants.
Medicare will only pay for removal of ruptured breast implants if a doctor determines it medically necessary due to health complications brought on because of the rupture or in some rare cases for psycological stress suffered as a result of the rupture.
They are so painful, as I said there are others that offer the snap on, and yes your ins will pay Medicare will only pay for dental implants if they are part of a facial reconstruction because of injury or disease. If your teeth were lost without other devastating facial injury, they won't pay for implants, but should cover dentures. I dont think Medicare covers implants. I have 3 of them. and medicare did not cover them. And Implants are Great. wish I could afford to do all my teeth that way..also some medical ins. will cover the surgical part of the implant. as mine did. hope this help. good luck

Medicare covers the essential part of a medicare-covered procedure. They may cover dental implants if it is part of a reconstructive surgery post injury but it does not cover the cost of dental implants for a simple replacement of a tooth.
