No it wont. only 01 02 03 will fit each other. I belive 98 to 2000 are the same junk yard can tell you right away what will fit. make sure that its is the same engine as well theres a 3.8 and a 3.0

The alternator in a 2000 Jaguar is a tight fit. You will have to remove the motor mount, oil filter, and filter adapter, then jack the engine up slightly to have clearance to remove the alternator.

the car has the original alternator in it, the brackets for the new alternator (the ford one) are uneven and wont fit the belts on them, i was wondering if i can take the brackets from the old alternator and replace them on the for so the belts will fit answer quickly thanks!
Not likely as the Windstar was significantly changed starting in 1999.For a definitive answer, check with an auto salvage/recycler/junk yard. They'll know for absolute sure.
