YES IT DOES! although different models from different years (such as Sahara or sport) have slightly different hardtops (some w/ small vents behind the back side windows some w/o, some with those defrost lines on the rear window some w/o) all Jeep wranglers from 1997 to 2006 will fit perfectly. I have a 98 Sahara with a 2004 top. The only thing that could be a little different is that the holes for the bolts that connect IT to the jeep might be a different size or shape or maybe in a different place. I didn't get the bolts from the guy I bought the top from so I just went to home depot and bought some with a butterfly nut so i could take of the top without tools later ;)
No the 1994 hard top will only fit models up 96 (YJ) a hard top from years 97 and up will fit CJ7 tops and YJ (87-95) are interchangeable. They did not make a wrangler in 1996. All 97-2006 hard tops are interchangeable. You cannot interchange a TJ and YJ hard top.
no ... tj to yj doors are diffrent
Yes, that should work just fine
Not without major modification, the YJ top is different than the TJ top
as far as i know it will. YES
There never was a 1996 Wrangler. 1997 to 2006 will fit.
The Wrangler X is a trim model below the Sport. Wrangler, X, Sport, Sahara, <insert specialty trim package here> i.e. Golden Eagle The Sport typically came with both soft and hard top, some Sahara available options and other minor trim differences.
yes, it should 1997 through 2006 wrangler hard tops are interchangeable (excluding the limited longer version wrangler with the regular size- obviously)
Yes, that should be a good fit
With out knowing the vin # it is hard to tell. Possibilities are 3.07, 3.73, or 4.11 Your axle may have a tag on it that could have one of those numbers on it.
Yes, it should work, your body style is TJ, all TJ parts interchange.
If it is bad enough, yes. However it is unlikely.
