yes it will, u have to do a full engine swap and get all the parts for it
yes but you need a cyl tranny motor mounts and engine harness. this is not a small job and requiers a lot of cuting and welding
If this is about the 5.7 engine and tranny then read on. The transmission doesn't require service for the first 100,000 miles. Ask your Toyota service manager. It takes a special procedure to service it. That's why you can't find a tranny dip stick for the 5.7 L engine.
two and one for the tranny. three total
There is no dipstick. To check the tranny fluid requires a special procedure.
i Believe that it is supposed to be 5-10 BTDC Depending on the model of the engine, 3k or 2t series as well as the RPM and tranny.
no its not............but a LSD can be installed
Yes it will, the w58 tranny which came with the non turbo 7m will fit using the 2jzge bellhousing, and the r154 which came with the turbo 7m will fit using the 1jz bellhousing.
the tranny dipstick is at rear of the engine on the drivers side of the car the tranny dipstick is at rear of the engine on the drivers side of the car the tranny dipstick is at rear of the engine on the drivers side of the car
inside the tranny
The tranny ( or transaxle / transmission ) on a 1993 Mercury Tracer is in the engine compartment bolted to the engine on the drivers side of the engine
It's possible that the breather on the tranny is blocked with road/engine sludge, thusly allowing pressure to build within the unit, which forces tranny fluid up the speedo cable. This occurred on a Ford Probe that we had in the family. I attached a new rubber hose to the original breather, and ran it further up into the engine compartment to avoid a repeat of the occurrence. Your best bet would be a GM dealership. If not them, then a Toyota dealer. Just tell the Toyota dealer that it's a Corolla, not a Prizm.
The transmission fluid dipstick is usually located toward the back of the engine toward the firewall. Follow manufacturers guidelines for checking tranny fluid.
