No it won't the 360 has an almost perfectly round bell housing ..and the 300 6 is the small block bell housing which has the top two bolt holes higher so it will not line up
It is on top of the transmission under the intake housing. Take the housing off to get to it. It is held into the transmission by a clamp bolt. Not hard to get off.
The bell housing has to be replaced to bolt up to a 351 cleveland
The input speed sensor is located on top of the automatic transmission near the engine. The connector points straight up and has 3 wires. The air filter and housing need to be removed to gain access to the top of the transmission. The battery needs to be removed in order to gain access to the 3rd bolt holding the air filter housing in place. There are 3 bolts that hold the housing in place. The sensor is held in place by a 10 mm bolt. You may have to clean the area around the sensor in order to reveal the bolt.
if you can find a bell housing that will bolt up to the engine you will be in business.
The speed sensor is on top of the transmission. Take the intake housing and battery tray out to get to it. It is held in place with a 10 mm bolt. It has a couple of wires going into it.
Use A 5-speed trans from a 4.3 S-10 It will bolt right up You will need the pressure plate and clutch disk from a 4.3 also
There's a three wires going to the top of your transmission....this is the speed sensor. Remove the bolt with a 10mm socket/wrench and pull straight out.
not unless you can change the bell housing! the 2.9 and 3.0 have different bolt patterns. GOOD LUCK!
No.The engine has a number "2" or "3" SAE flywheel housing that has a 360 deg. bolt circle."2" has a 18-3/8in. bolt circle."3" has a16-7/8in. bolt circle.I have a aluminum "3" housing that has the proper transmission holes to mount a chev. 4-speed-3-speed std.937-879-3532.
I can't find a reference for the 902. The 904 will bolt up only if it has the correct bell housing on it
will a 1956 gmc 3 speed trans bolt on a chevy 350 v-8 engine
A powerglide is a 2 speed automatic transmission.
