yes! depending on the block. ie. a 350 or 305 will work with newer heads and intakes. as long as you have the correct gasket. the heads can not be reverse flow. they will not work without modification.
The 5.7 heads will work if they have the smaller 184 intake valves . Or you will have to bore the block over to get the 194 ,200,or 202 intake valves to fit into the cylinder if not it will lock it up when the valve opens and hits the edge of the block
The heads will fit the block, but the vortec intake manifold will not bolt to the old style heads.
yes ,I have change one out with a old 350 it had lot more power . I used the old heads to with vortec intake you have to slot the four bolt holes .but it will work.
The 85 intake manifold won't work with the 90 heads, so you will need to purchase an aftermarket intake if you want to use a carburetor or use a 87 to 95 intake if you want to change over to TBI.
Yes you can but you will need to modify the bolt holes in the intake manifold. The TBI intake 4 center bolts, 2 on each side will not line up with the heads. Must drill them out just a little.
No it Has a different bolt pattern because of the engine size
it will work I have vortec heads on a 72 400 small block, I had to get the heads reworked for the 400s water ports or steam port and a vortec type style intake will be needed
They will bolt to the block but the intake will not bolt up. The vortec heads have raised runners so the ports would not match. You would also be decreasing performance as the older heads will not flow like the vortecs do or have as good as a flame travel due to the vortecs heart shape chamber,.
Yes it will work the block bolt patteren never changes from 350 to 350. You might run into a problem with a intake manifold not going on though unless you have it too for the heads you want to use.
yes
yes
If the ports on the heads on the 88 are the same as your 76 intake it should work.
