Yes, if you use the right intake manifold. But, if the 7.5 is factory fuel injected you're better off not using the Holley. Just get bigger injectors and a bigger air intake.
Holley Motor Car was created in 1900.
sounds like a chevy motor 250 cid. you can go original which was built by rochester, believe it or not a decent parts store could hook you up. if you want a bit more power tou can look at summit racing or jegs. holley, carter, edelbrock all make something for you motor you can even by a 4 barrel intake manifold and carb for about 50 more horse power , my suggestion by a nice holley 2 barrel carb and a carb adapter

In older cars 4v = a four barrel carburetor. 2v would be a two barrel and a 1v would be one barrel
will a 4 barrel edelbrock fit both chevy or ford with 4 barrel manifolds
The motor would not start rotating. The motor will just hum and the rotor will be stationary. If you can get the rotor to start turning the motor will still run on its run winding.I have a cement mixer that has a motor with a burnt out start winding. All I have to do is turn the barrel and the motor will start turning over. Without the start winding you have a choice of which way the motor will turn. If I turn the mixer barrel the opposite direction, the barrel will turn that way until I turn the unit off.
What Year Motor?

if you got a carb rebuild kit most of them have the tolerances in them. if not there are maunals on that motor on eBay for that year motor
A small holley carb with vacuum secondaries should work fine or even a replacement quadrajet would be a good choice. Something in the 600cfm range for a small block motor should be more than enough. Yes, it had a Rochester 4-barrel carburetor.
These motors came with between 200 and 220 hp. That means you will run anywhere between 14.3 to 14.9 sec. on the 1/4 depending on the weight of vehicle, the gears in the rear end and whether you hook up at the tree or not.
