No. In fact after a hysterectomy, you may have "phantom cycles" for a while (6-12 months) until you body adjusts. Phantom cycles feel like your are getting ready for your menses, bloating, headache, light sensative, moody---but then no menses. They stop on their own as the body adjusts to not menstruating.
