No.
I know this first hand. The first car I owned ran out of Transmission Fluid.
The car stopped right where it was.
Let it warm up if it still don't move check trans fluid.
Line pressure problem in trans due to low fluid, bad pump etc. Check fluid first.
where you check your trans fluid you have to use a funnel tho you don't want trans fluid all over Ur engine compartment
Yes of course
It's probably tranny fluid, Power steering fluid is usually clear.
No. Unfortunately, the transmission fluid level can only be checked by jacking the car up perfectly level, and then opening the overflow valve and filling with trans. fluid until it starts to spill out.
to add transmission fluid its usually on top of the transmission. theres a cap to it and it can be lossened. to check the fluid theres a bolt sitting on top of the transmission toward the front of the car
It's probably low on fluid or it could need to be flushed and a new screen put in.
If it is 96 and up, get it scanned for codes. If it were mine, I'd change the trans fluid and filter. Although I have seen one where the car came in for a trans service/flush (it wouldn't move/shift/anything) and upon draining the fluid, it was black. I knew immediately that it might have been too late and after the trans flush, it still didn't move. But that's the extreme, yours could very well be a simple fluid/filter change.
low trans fluid level.
No but the car should be at normat operatin temp
Under the rear of the car on the side of the transmission.
