I have used it with good results. Not too much vinegar, or the floor will have a slightly sticky feel. My best results are about 1/4 cup vinegar and 1/8 cup rubbing alcohol in a gallon of water. I use a mop with reusable and washable pads. Soak the pads in the solution, and then wring out each pad thoroughly. I use about one pad per room, more if the floor is really dirty. Toss the pads in the washer when you're done. The floors come out looking great, and dry quickly with no sticky feel. Remember you don't want the pads too wet or leave them on the laminate surface too long. I have found that standing water seeps into the seams between the boards very easily and will damage your floor irreparably, so wring out the pads well and work quickly.
Soap- or oil-based products will eventually leave a residue on laminate flooring that makes the floors look dull and dirty. You want to use a product that dries quickly and leaves no buildup behind. Many floor manufacturers recommend window cleaning products like Windex. For a homemade cleaning product, a simple solution of warm water and vinegar – 1 cup vinegar to a gallon of water – will also work well.
You can put vinegar and water together to clean bamboo floors. Commercial cleaners do not work well. Keep your floors swept and do not scratch with sharp objects.

Laminate floors are made with recyled hardwood, so you should treat them like hardwood floors. Any regular hardwood cleaning product should work. In particular, Bona is a great product, but there are many others. For both laminate and hardwood, I would avoid products with oil or wax in the name or that promote a shiny finish. These products have wax which will wear down the finish and damage your floors in the long run.
The best way is to use water only to keep from getting buildup on floors. occasionaly you can use a little vinegar with the water. I have tried everything to get my floors clean. I didn't like orange glo so I recomend not to use it It may work for you but not for mine.
Always hate to answer a question with a question, but sometimes it helps.. Why would you want to do that & what does it get you?? Laminate has a stain proof surface and the Polyurethane wont stick long term, My belief & experience is that what you propose wont work..
no, but all work ok. anything to create required space
The solution is actually not what you would think. Ammonia can damage tile floors and warm water and vinegar isn't going to get rid of the waxy residue although it is good for normal everyday cleaning. try cleaning with ammonia read the label first Mop the floor with warm water and white vinegar that will do the trick, it won't work overnight though. But you will see it improving over time. Good luck
Yes it does. works just as good as the mixture on your hair. Vinegar, rubbing alcohol and water.
The main uses for durable and water-resistant laminate worktops are the preparation, display and storage of food, work utensils and electricals in kitchens and breakfast bars.
Laminate flooring stands up pretty well in a bathroom. It is a much better choice than true hardwood floors because it will not absorb as much moisture. However, the resin that is on top of the laminate flooring often times wears off and may not last as long as other choices such as stone, vinyl tile, or ceramic tile.
I have tried vinegar many times on urine soaked clothes, soaking in hot water and vinegar...smell is still there!!
