To play Disney Infinity 2.0 (and the same for 3.0 I assume) with four people on 360 you need two of the consoles, two bases, two copies of the game, at least four figures, four controllers and an xbox live gold subscription or trial, as well as internet. (<-- gosh dang that's a lot of stuff) My question though is if you can do this setup but with instead of two 360s if you can play with one 360 and the xbox one version of the game (I know the 360 version will work on the xbox one with this, but I wanted to know if I could have the newer version and still do this). If you happen to know the specific answer for this scenario in 3.0 as well or not, especially if it's different.
Sorry it's so complicated and thanks in advance!
No
Any children aged 10 or over should be fine to play Disney Infinity games although younger children can play with parental supervision. They can be played on games consoled including the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
Unfortunately no you can not. They thought about it but then decided to keep it safe for kids offline. Fearing that child predators would get to them online.
Infinity ward has not developed a way for 2 people 2 go online for any console, you can play split screen together but online no
There is no "The Xbox Live", Xbox live is simply a pay-to-play game service where you can play Xbox 360 games online. It depends on the game if you can play it online or not, the game's box should on the back say if it can be played online.
