Yes it does. And it should be replaced, because most people do not replace them ever in the 3.1 engine. It is located underneath the far valve cover( not the one right in front, it's towards the back of the engine.) You may have to take off the upper intake to get to it.
Try wireing it straight to the battery and see if it turns on. If it dont turn on then your motor for your fans is bad and needs to be replaced.
If the engine is either a 2.5L 4 cylinder engine or a 2.8L 3.1L V6 it should go in.

I would think that on size alone it would fit and mount in. Depending on which of the engines the 1985 Celebrity had you might need to make a number of modifications to use the Corsica engine in the Celebrity. The two engines are NOT identical.
