Yes it can but I would also check the blower motor as well................thanx...i checked the fan.. it was fine after i cleaned it out of debris from mice!...and then i discovered that the fuse did not blow when the fan is on high...so I'm thinking it must be the resistor...and im leaving it on hi for now!! cheapest one i found so far is about $95, bargain auto.. acdelco part no 1574979

First check the fuses. If the fuses are okay I would suspect the switch and plug had a meltdown or the blower motor itself is shot. If it was the blower speed resistor that was shot you would still have high speed.
Fuses and relays are not your problem. The Blower Motor Resistor Pack is defective and needs replacing.Fuses and relays are not your problem. The Blower Motor Resistor Pack is defective and needs replacing.
Depends on the year. You could try the resistor first since it is the cheapest. If not that, then check the fuses, relays and wiring to the control head. Then lastly, change the motor.
try changing the fuses for the blower or maybe the motor blower itself or the blower resistor.....................
Check to see if it getting power - if so blower is defective If not could be relay, switch or resistor
Check to see if you are gettin power tothe blower motor - if so motor is bad If not, perhaps resistor or switch is bad Or open wire to motor or resistor
Well it is apparent that all is not ok. The speed of the blower motor is controlled by the blower motor speed control switch and the blower motor resistor pack. One of those two items is your problem. I would bet the blower motor resistor pack is defective. The only way to know for sure is to replace it.
If you have checked the blower motor and it does function when power is applied then I would suspect the Blower Motor Resistor Pack is defective. It is also possible the blower motor speed control is bad, but highly unlikely.
The blower motor resistor circuit board has gone bad. Replace the blower motor resistor. I did Still dont work Try the fuses...Had the same problem and it was a blown fuse.
Assuming you have no speeds including HI I would check for power at the connection at the blower motor with ignition and switches on. If you have power the motor is shot. If you have no power go back and check the fuses. If the fuses are good check the switch and electrial plug at the switch for damage. If the blower motor speed resistor was burned out you would still have HI speed.
First check that the ground and the power for the blower are both good and then scan the computer..............
Check the fuses first and the blower relay.
