yes, you just need to get new V8 engine mounts welded on the frame and have the old V6 ones cut out.
you will also need a new fan shrowd and if its going form a chevy v6 to a Pontiac v8 you will need a new wire harness new battry tray.
no it will not fit
Yes
Yes, a 1979 Firebird tail light will fit a 1979 Trans Am. There are also restoration services if you have the tail lights and they just need to be repaired.
yes they do
Check the Firebird and Camaro seats.
Yes it will fit, They are exactly the same body style
Can a v.8 5.7l 350 engine fit into a 1994 Pontiac firebird?
I have not found anything that would indicate they they are interchangable
Yes, as any small block engine will fit.
Unfortunately, a 1997 Toyota Supra engine and trans would not fit into a 1990 Mazda Miata. The Supra engine and transmission are unable to be mounted correctly within a Miata to make them fit.
Any size SBC engine will fit and is compatible with a 91 Firebird. A 350 engine is the most common that is used for installing in a 91 Firebird.
Yes, with some modifications.
yes
sure, you might just have to change the motor mounts if your going from a 6 cyl. to a V8 and of course you will have to change the computer and wiring to the engine.
Anything is possible, but that would be very complicated. The 360 and its trans would not even really fit under the hood.
A 350 will easily fit but you could install a larger engine with major modifications. Stick with a 350 which was the optional engine in Firebirds. You will have to change the ECU also, so a donor car would be the easiest. If I were in your shoes, I would sell this Firebird and purchase one with a 350 already installed. You would be money ahead in the long run.
You can make it fit but not without some modification. You see the V6 Fbody has an angled throttle body and intake, Trans Ams have a different style connection. I have seen it done before but with all the trouble you will go through I would not recommend it. A Cold Air Intake would be a suitable alternative.
As far as a direct fit, the 82-92 Firebird/Camaro is the same generation. Any from these years should be a direct bolt in.
NO!
yes
sure it will fit in the engine bay, you will need to change the motor mounts and get the computer and wiring from the 5.7.
Not very likely, as there is no such thing as a 2005 Pontiac Trans Am.
Yes. The firebird and camaro use the same chassis. Use mounts and headers for a camaro, and you'll be all set.
No
