ECM will not cause A/C to not work properly. some of the earlier Mitsubishi's had a ground wire for the A/C going through the ECM. and i have ran into the circuit in the ECM that grounds it go out causing the A/C to not work on a few diffrent cars
Check
heating element stopped working
Mitsubishi dealerships are the best places to find a Mitsubishi Galant. If one is looking for the 2000 model specifically then one should call ahead to see if they have one available. Another excellent place to look would be in the local newspapers.
Maby because it dosent have any gas in it, or because the battery is dead.
I'm not positive but, i don't think the '95 galant or other yrs. have a "pump relay switch". they do have a pressure regulator and a relief valve. i would check your local dodge or Mitsubishi dealer and ask them.
if its the 2.4 liter its the exact same motor so yes, this would be possible
Checking and/or changing the ignition leads to the spark plugs. Solved my problem with this. Also solved the percieved problem with the clutch shudder when taking off.
Hello: I am doing a overhaul on my 2002 Mitsubishi Galant. I inadvertently moved the crankcase while trying to remove the small timing belt while the larger timing belt was off. Knowing that, I would like to know is there a procedure to follow to correct this?
check the engine fuse it might be blown,or timing belt it might be wornout I had this problem happen twice to me, where it died on the road and I had to pull over and it would not start. This was a 1994 Mitsubishi Galant. The mechanic replaced what I think is the internal distributor, it was some electronic black box literally, and after that it was fine. I guess they burn out every 7 to 10 years.
Either an air lock or a faulty switch at the stat. If its not using water i would replace the sender (switch). Hope this helps.
check the servo assembly located under the EFI,or have it replaced
Yes, it would. While the Throttle plate is closed when not pressing on the gas pedal. The IAC is a bypass passage that allows air to continuous flow to the engine. I just had the same problem with my 2000 Mitsubishi Galant. I unplugged the IAC and the engine no longer wants to stall out, it just runs at a higher RPM to compensate for the nipple on the IAC not moving back to create the bypass passage.
