fualty gaskett, or installed incorrctly most likely you have coolant in your combustion chamber, check your oil for coolant.
The exhaust manifold on a Chevy S10 truck is changed by removing the spark plugs, unbolting the manifold from the cylinder heads, and unbolting the collector. The manifold can then be removed from the vehicle and a new set put in its place.
the fuel pressure regulator is located inside the polycarbonate(black plastic looking) intake manifold. You have remove intake manifold from the engine and "split" it apart on a workbench or suitable supporting device because the bolts that hold the 2-piece intake manifold together are located on the bottom of the manifold. the fuel pressure regulator is located inside the polycarbonate(black plastic looking) intake manifold. The manifold if the metal tube that directs the gas from the gas valve to (2-10) orifices so each orifice receives the same amount of pressure. This manifold is factory made and should never be changed.
I changed the manifold gaskets on my 2000 Malibu 3.1 and it is running just fine!Get a haynes manual from the parts place and the instructions are in it. The book at advanced auto is about 20.00.
no, the bolt pattern on the small block Chevy intake manifold changed in '87 to the vortec head design, but if it doesnt have the centerbolt valve covers, then it will.
Rated at 320 BHP. 1999 models had a recall to have the intake manifold extrude-honed because the engines weren't making the full power rating since the manifold design was changed.
if it's coming out the exhaust manifold it could be a blown head gasket or cracked head.
Sorry no, the intake manifold would have to be changed
Mechanical energy is changed to thermal energy. This is when you are rubbing your hands together to make heat.
I believe its behind the exhaust manifold. You can see it looking up from underneath. I haven't changed mine yet. Anyone know if its possible to change without removing the manifold? Seems unlikely.
it could possibly have either a blown head gasket or intake manifold gaskets leaking
On the 2000 model, keep the exhaust manifold and the intake manifold. The rest of it will sit in there just like the old one did.....Buy exhaust manifold gasket for 2000 model. It will cover the EGR port to close it off.
