It is common for blower resistors to supersede to new style parts.
That is possible. You may have an updated version.
Your truck has both. the resistor is between the switch & blower.thje resistor controls the blower speed
Blower resistor. I have an 04 that does the same thing. Bad connection between the resistor and the plug for me. Big topic though for durango those resistors.

You need to replace blower motor resistor.
The resistor is under the passenger dash just left of the blower motor
The blower motor speed resistor is burned out.
either the control head is bad or there is a blower motor resistor that is bad.
it is accesible under the wiper cowl cover on the right side
Mine measures 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 ohms
Short of it is the resistor controls the fan speeds for the blower. Easy to replace and to my knowledge only available through a dealer.
under the front passenger seat/ right under the glove compartment
have you checked the fuse if so then you will need to replace the resistor for the blower hig and low dettings have you checked the fuse do you have 12 volts to blower if so then you will need to replace the resistor for the blower replace the blower motor
