sounds like the alarm was still set...same thing happened to me..we dissconecceted the battery..but you can lock the car,then using the key,turn the key toward the right then back to the left...it will dissarm the alarm
The factory alarm is part of the engine and body computers and can not be bypassed. If malfunctioning, the fault must be repaired.
The alarm system is a shared function of the body and engine computers. The body computer is on the inside of the under dash fuse panel. The engine computer is near the air cleaner box.

BCM, body control module. It controls lights, wipers, alarm, etc. PCM, powertrain control module. It is the engine computer.
Chrysler does not have reset buttons.
The factory alarm does not have a reset button. An aftermarket alarm may have a reset. It could be located wherever the installer put it.
When you lock the doors, there will be a small red light on the dash that flashes to tell you the alarm is arming.
Just put the key in the driver side door and turn as far to the left as possible. I guess once the computer knows you have the key that unlocks all the doors it shuts the alarm off.
