Coolant temperature sensor may be bad and giving false reading the the computer, therby not giving output command to the fan.

Not a good sign, This could mean that your charging system (alternator) isn't doing its job. If you have problems starting the car due to not enough battery power, then check your battery to see if it is holding the charge. If after a while that you had to boost or jumpstart your battery your car gradually dies then check your alternator to see if it is putting out charge to the battery.

User Avatar

you will need to get a volt meter and check the voltage on the battery with the car running it should be between 13.6v and 14.4v any lower means you probably have alternator problems if the reading is over 13.6v then your battery needs changing if it is a maintainable battery then you should check the acid levels of the battery but most car batteries are maintenance free

First is the battery good? Next, when the bike is running did you check the volts with a volt meter? Need above 14 volts at 2000 rpm. At idle you will have about 12.4 or a little more. So, check the battery. If the battery is good, and all the cnx. are good, then possible stator problems.
