this sould be perfectly normal. it has an automatic choke which kicks off when the motor warms up. let the motor get warm and then shut it off for a minute or so. start it up and c if it still does it.
If you are referring to adjusting the height of the pedal, I might be able to help you get started. If you can squeeze under your dash to where your pedal is, there is a stopper bar behind the pedal that can be adjusted by first loosening the washer that holds it in place and then turning the bolt until you get the pedal where you wish it to be. This is what i did for my 95 maxima, and I assume it is the same. If you are referring to adjusting the height of the pedal, I might be able to help you get started. why is my brake pedal hard on 2003 sunfirer
The throttle plate in the throttle body may be stuck and needs to be freed up and/or lubricated
The first bass pedals were introduced in the late 1890's. When bands had to squeeze into smaller spaces and orchestra pits, there was greater need for double drummers. The Ludwig Drum Company, started by William and his brother Theobald, were the first to produce a bass pedal.
find the cable linked to your gas pedal it should have 1 or 2 nuts on it to adjust your idle
No. When the car is first started, you are supposed depress the gas pedal, which engages the automatic choke, which is a latching mechanism on the carburetor.
Most likely its the throttle cable, if not I would check the linkage between the gas pedal and the throttle body.
the throttle could be stuck! pop your hood and see if its pulled back!
The car idles very high for about 8 seconds then gradually idles down again to normal, then idles up and down, you have to have one of your feet on the brake an the other on the gas pedal, it also shoots out black smoke out the exhaust pipe. very scary to drive, but once on the freeway it drive good, but if you let go of the gas pedal slightly, it will jerk suddenly, get a new one or get one from an auto salvage to make sure that it is your problem, then go buy a new one, good -luck, I am going to try several from the salvage yard till I find a good one that actually helped me with this problem, then I will go get a new map sensor also."speedon55@hotmail.com".....
maybe fuel filter or coil throttle/pedal pressure sensor according to my obd2 test kit for my '99. Try hooking up an obd1 and see what the diagnosis is.
Chances are, you have either a bad lock up solenoid . Or you may have a bad fuel pressure regulator. This is where I would look first
Roger Mayer invented the fuzz box, the earliest form of distortion pedal.
