You have a security on your 99 olds alero but no security light why wont it come on?

Try putting the key in the on position but dont start it wait 15 to 20 min it should start flashing security right hand corner of the dash take the key out count to ten than turn car on this is how to disable it so maybe it work turn it back on.

You can't bypass or reset security system, bring it to the dealer.

The security light is on the dash board you will need to take it to a dealer and have the security tured off or do what I did and make a switch to turn the security on and off I don't touch mine cause its kooky but the only thing is that they don't make Olsmobile's anymore so take it to a Chevy dealer and they should be able to kix it for you.
