Initially ice it for the first day or two. Wrapping it in an Ace banadage can also help. After the first day or two apply heat and gradually retirn to finction and stretch. Anti-inflammatories such as Motrin/Advil/Aleve or generics) can help.

put some ice on it and try to stay off it for a while. oh and sometimes when you pull a muscle its because you are dehydrated so if it was pretty recent drink a lot of water. if its your back use icy hot. it works really well.

just keep your balance, then sit down, pull your legs straight

have someone rub your legs and massage

them

than just keep doing that for about 3 days

Generally, the best thing to do is to stay off of it as much as possible. Any swelling can be reduced by applying ice, and elevating the leg. If pain or limited mobility persists for more than a few weeks, you may want to see a doctor.
