I have changed my spark plugs on my 1996 dodge grand caravan SE the engine turns but it don't start. Is there a switch or something in my van that needs to be checked. How do I check my timing belt? What else can I check?
my van will crank, but won't start, had spark plugs change
Why won't the radiator fan start on my 1991 dodge caravan?
Your 1993 Dodge Caravan might start sometimes and not start other times because of a bad starter or solenoid. You might also have a weak battery or a charging system that is not working correctly. This could also be an issue with the distributor.
it could either be a bad beattery or a bad starter
Engine codes start at 11 Could it be 55 which means N/A
You have to figure out first, is it getting spark? Is it getting fuel? Have you disconnected a spark plug wire and cranked engine? Have you checked fuel pressure? . Start there first and get back. Need more info to help you.
is the transmiton
A blown radiator hose could not cause a 2000 Dodge Durango to not have spark and not start unless the heat damaged the computer in the vehicle. Sometimes when an engine overheats, the computer that controls the firing can be damaged.
Hello. Have you looked at the distribiture? I have a 1988 that had no spark. We noticed that alot of carbon was built up on the contacts. Used a little sandpaper and cleaned the contacts. Worked wonders for me. GL. P.T.
Turning over indicates the starter is working. The voltage from the battery should be around 9 volts while cranking. If so, check spark plugs for spark. And spray quick start fluid into the intake manifold. If still no run get back to me.
This could be a problem with your cam sensor, or crank sensor.
If you are getting power to your coil and you still have no spark at the spark plug, you have a bad coil. Beyond that you will have to chase the electrical system. could be a fusible link.
PLEASE be more specific!
you are an idiot. put gas in it.
1) no spark 2) no or incorrect fuel or fuel/air ratio 3) insufficient cranking speed 4) low engine compression 5) incorrect timing If your caravan has distributorless ignition, check the crankshaft position sensor.
yes it does, every car has spark plugs or it wouldn't start.
The fuse would be the first place to check.
no that not it
sounds like the power transistor i just had the same deal allso could be the ECM
