If the spare is in the trunk, and you tightened the tire, also make sure the car's jack, and tire tool are also tightened down as well as anything else that might be in the trunk.You can also have rear shock or strut noise that will make it sound like the spare, as will the rear wheels, brakes, or muffler or tail pipe, Chuck
