The key word here is "manual" transmission. If you are using you airconditioner, carrying more cargo or people, or driving in 4WD, anything that requires more work from vehical. You might need to downshift to maintain speed going up hills.If the problem is more severe than you should have a mechanic look at it. But more likely than not if you turn off the airconditioner in the middle of a hill you will see what i mean or not. good luck :0)
