Honda civic runs on cold bad sign?
The honda Civic cold air intake works in a very simple style. It takes in air and then uses the cold air to cool down the car for a more efficient ride.
distributor cap could be loose, or seals could be bad somewhere. do u have a cold intake??
when really cold it will start and sit at 1,500 but then when the engine warmes up it should sit at usually 600 to 800 rpm
On a Honda Civic I would not buy under a 500 CCA battery. The more the better especially if you live in a cold climate.
A timing belt for a 2001 Honda Civic Lx needs to be replaced every 110,000 miles unless it is being driven in extremely hot or cold temperatures.
The 92-95 Honda Civic Cold Air design is simple, so you can check for the cheapest applications you can find on eBay or Amazon. The performance difference between the cheap generic intakes and the name brand intakes for that car will be negligible.
Do you mean right after you start it ? When the engines cold ?
Not Much!
Probably low coolant or a faulty thermostat
from my experience yes i had a 91 civic hatch that got totaled and i kept most that i could off of it and got a 93 civic dx (honda of canada) and my cold air intake set right in place a lil tight near the filter end but it fit none the less
