Could be a number of reasons. First to check would be battery check terminal connections and clean them if have a lot of corrision. Another could be solinoid sticking and about to go out I personally have had luck making them last longer on vechiles when this starts by hiting the start directly with a mid weight object .
i hit he curb and put a hole in the oil pan ,i replace the oil pan now the engine cranks but doent start. what could be the problem
could be disdributor
The problem is in spark, or fuel. Rarely the Crank angle sensor. ECU could be going bad too.
check map sensor that was the problem in my 89 2.3 ranger
THE netural Saftey Switch could B bad .
I can't say for certain but I think that year has a crank sensor which could be bad also it could be a fuel problem or even an ignition problem
Hi, The problem with your pass side window is the drivers side power window switch. I have had this same problem on my 1993 Aerostar.
If your motor cranks it could be an ignition problem which could be anything from bad spark plugs to a bad distributor or it could be a fuel problem. When you turn the key to on listen for the fuel pump to click on if you hear it then its most likely not your fuel unless ur filter is cloged. if there is no crank most likely starter or bad ground somewhere
There are several reasons why a 1996 Achieva engine cranks but will not fire. A few of the reasons could be a bad ignition control module, ignition coil pack, or a crankshaft position sensor.
Check the alternator.
TCC Solenoid.
check the fuel lines.. fuel relay, fuses, and if all else fails the pump.
