A wind up radio is a great device if you need a radio and have no electricity or batteries. These come in handy if there is a storm and you lose power or in case of emergency.
sounds like you have overloaded and blown a fuse or relay check fuses . disconnect power source for radio recheck fuses.if dash lights come on, find a different point for power supply for radio. actually you should connect radio to accesories .lights dont take as much power as radio
The 3 sided plastic faceplate just snaps in with spring steel clips that come off with the faceplate. Be prepared to have to hunt for at least one that comes off the faceplate when you pull it off. The radio itself is held in with 2 screws that are obvious after the faceplate is removed.
YOU simply shut off the power switch to the radio and then turn off the ignition switch and when you restart the truck it should come out as long as the radio power is off
I hope this answer doesn't come too late, but this is a common fault on the Leganza. You need to replace the earth connection to the unit. It's quite easy to do, and doesn't need any specialist tools or knowledge. Remove the trim around the unit, unscrew it, and pull out. You need to identify the earth (thick black wire usually), and connect it to a good metal connection elsewhere. I ran mine to the negative pole of the cigarette lighter, and it's worked perfectly since. HTH.
