Probably not, but still worth a try
if you have a leak in your transmition the best thing to do is NOT TO DRIVE THE CAR transmition damage may occur meaning $$$$$$$$. if you MUST move the car try adding more fluid. and since its leaking you may need to stop and add more very frequently. on the other hand try to see from where the leak is coming from it could be thru one of the transmition fluid cooling lines that may be loose or corroded that can easily be fix.
the transmition is sliping
Line pressure problem in trans due to low fluid, bad pump etc. Check fluid first.
Low transmission fluid will cause the vehicle not to move. Try filling the fluid and see if it works. good luck
Something must be wrong with the transmition and/or engine. If you take it to a mechanic, they can give you further details.
what is the problem when the car will not go in drive or reverse? and the transmission fluid is still full
it will drive but when in reverse it wont move
it means you need to cheak all the liquids in the car because the are low... like the coolant, oil, transmition fluid, break fluid, windsheild washer fluid, power steering fluid.
crankshaft
Get it rebuilt
bad transmission
Hey Diane==You don't state if it is auto or standard. If it is auto take it to the trans shop an something inside is broken and if it is standard have the clutch checked out first. GoodluckJoe If your car wont reverse more than likely your transmition is faulty. You will need profesional assistance.
