If the duse is still good ... then remove the door panel and try cleaning the area ... remove the unit ... clean around the bolt areas. It is probably not getting a good dround. You may have to run a new ground wire..(from one of the bolts to some good metal somewhere handy)Make sure the motor is still operational ... they don't give out often, but they do sometimes. It is just a typical GM unit ... one can be found at a salvage yard.
As far as I know you can not get a subaru legacy sti from the factory bu you could get an sti engine and put it in a legacy. That is the only way that I know of.
If an alternator is going bad it can cause a rough idle in a 1993 Subaru Legacy. Cold temperatures in the winter can also cause a rough idle in the Subaru Legacy.
it is ordinarily in the transmission. or, it could be in a can at the parts store.
Yes.
You could be low on coolant, a stuck thermostat, engine fan not coming on for starters. If still overheats, I would recommend taking it to a Subaru dealer.
Not legally. Of course you could stack them like cord wood & get 15 clowns in one. The Legacy comes with seat belts for 5 people.
could be something with the steering or with the power steering pump.
I would bring it in, because you can never be sure
I have a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT (Wagon) and haven't been able to find a hitch. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? If I am able to find a hitch, I would then try to get the Outback trailer hitch wiring harness from my Subaru dealer. I would expect the wiring in the two cars to be the same, but I suppose they could be different. I noticed the Legacy wagons don't have the rear 12 volt jack that the Outbacks have. This is something I'd like to add too for one of those electric coolers. That would be nifty I think. Thanks . . .
yes theres problem go service it
Does the (check engine )stay lit when you start from cold if not then check the engine oxygen sensor may need replacing or the turbo has been replaced and could be blowing out the spark
Check your temperature control switch. It is hooked to a cable it could be stuck on hot or needs a new one.
