The radio unlock code for a Chevy Lumina is typically found in the owner's manual or on a card that came with the vehicle. If you don't have that information, you can obtain the code by contacting a Chevrolet dealership with your vehicle's VIN and proof of ownership. Alternatively, some online services may assist in retrieving the code based on the radio's serial number.
To reset the radio code on a 2004 Chevy Aveo, first, ensure the ignition is in the "On" position without starting the engine. If the radio is locked, it will display "LOC" or similar. You will need the original radio code, which is usually found in the owner's manual or provided by the dealership. Enter the code using the radio preset buttons, and once entered correctly, the radio should unlock and function normally.
After replacing the battery in a 2007 Chevy Silverado, if the radio asks for a reset code, you typically need to consult the owner's manual or contact a dealership for the specific code, as it is unique to each vehicle. In many cases, simply driving the vehicle for a short period can reset the system. If the radio doesn't reset automatically, you may need to enter a code provided by an authorized dealer based on your vehicle's VIN.

Not true. The computer does not have to be reset. You can change it yourself. You may have to enter the radio code if it is a theft deterrent radio but you have to do nothing to the computer.
Contact the dealership. Most can obtain a unlock code for the factory radio. Since it's a Chevy I'm assuming it's a Delco raido. Go to www.delcolockcodes.com and they'll be able to get you your specific unlock code.
The reset code is specific to the radio. Look in and on the glove compartment for the code and in the owners manual. If it is not there you need the serial number of the radio and have to call the dealer for the code.
Chevy is pretty bad about that, they want you to take it in so they can reset it, the master code is kept secret. I advise after you do to set a new code in it yourself using the instructions in the owners manual so the next time you won't have to go through that.

You insert the code with the radio presets. Just push the reset # that corresponds to the radio preset. If you have locked the radio up just leave it on for a few hours and it will reset so you can enter the code again.
