possible timing issue or maybe it has that little wire you have to unplug u know the brown with black strip under glovebox when u set timing called set time wire
It's lean.
It's lean.
Yep.
Plug might be cracked .And might be arching
Adjust your timing
It could be running out of fuel .More of a description of the vehicle could help narrow the fault down more.
the back fire could be a sign that you need to get new spark plugs, posibly wires to could help and the stalling could be to do with the carb.
backfiring is a sympton of a lean condition. look for vacuum leaks and fuel delivery problems.
There are several reasons, the plug wires are crossed, the timing is retarded, and the valves are not properly adjusted.
On my engine, the accelerator pump on the Carb is going bad, 350 engine with quadrajet carb
That usually means it's lean. Check all vacuum lines and gaskets for leaks.
Check the timing on it along with your plugs and wires. The backfire is from gas not burning completely and ignites in the exhaust. Most likely its the timing which can be set by turning the distrib very very little at a time till prob is solved.
