the back fire could be a sign that you need to get new spark plugs, posibly wires to could help and the stalling could be to do with the carb.

If car stalls out when accelerating above 40 MPH, it can possibly be caused by fluid leaks. Another reason can be a defect at the transmission.

Fuel injectors I'd assume. I have a fuel injector stuck open on my car and sometimes it stalls while accelerating. Check it out, maybe. These '93's have 100000 problems..

A person should be able to trouble shoot problems in a car. A vehicle would stall out after starting because of a failure in the fuel system, or it could be a bad O2 sensor.

Fuel starvation. Blocked air/fuel filters. Fuel pump delivery rate wrong or carburetor needle valve stuck.

I, too, would like to know the answer! I have a 1993 Polaris Trail Boss ATV with the 250 cc engine... it tends to backfire when letting off the throttle.

possible timing issue or maybe it has that little wire you have to unplug u know the brown with black strip under glovebox when u set timing called set time wire

A person walking in a straight line at a constant speed would not be accelerating. A person standing still in one spot would not be accelerating.

Having no catalytic converter installed is illegal and can cause a myriad of problems. Probably not a backfire though.

because if you stop immediately then the car will stall.

does my 1996 pontiac ga stall out in park

if you have a cracked distributor cap then water would get inside it and make your car stall.

if your fuel pressure is low it will also back fire and stall when it is warmed up. check fuel filter and fuel pressure. check with a scan tool and see what the temp sensor is reading (You cant do this by looking at the dash guage)

if it was cold then ur engine wasnt warmed up that is one reason. or it was to hot out and ur radiator isn't working properly and it overheate. did it start after a while??

Yes. You can travel in a circle at constant speed, but you would still be accelerating because your direction would be changing constantly.

from unburned fuel in the cylinder

timing or a plug not sparking

Only when accelerating, I would suspect a broken motor mount or bad CV joint.
