US: John Calvin Coolidge Jr.
Calvin Coolidge (born July 4, 1872 in Plymouth, Vermont; died January 5, 1933 in Northampton, Massachussetts) succeeded Warren G. Harding as the thirtieth President of the United States, serving between August 2, 1923 and March 4, 1929, including the whole of 1925.
In 1925, the president was Calvin Coolidge. But he decided not to run in the next election, and Herbert Hoover was elected in 1928. Unfortunately for Hoover, the Great Depression began in 1929, and many voters blamed his policies for making the US economy so bad. Hoover lost in 1932, and Franklin D. Roosevelt became the president. He continued to serve throughout the 1930s, getting re-elected in 1936.
In the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt was president in the years of 1933 to 1935 and beyond. He was elected in the 1932 presidential election, mainly due to the economic Depression that was on ongoing issue in the USA & in the world at the time.
In 1930, the president was Herber Hoover. He lost the election in 1932, largely due to the fact that many Americans blamed him (fairly or not) for the Great Depression. The new president was Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who was still president in 1935, and was re-elected in the 1936 election.
