gm supercharger oil for the supercharger. any oil you prefer for the engine oil.
It takes 2 bottles of the GM supercharger oil (or Ford supercharger oil, they are the same product). Do not try to substitute anything else for it either. It is a specialized oil built for the iron bearings that are used in these superchargers.
Depending on the supercharger, it will require a special blend of synthetic oil. This synthetic oil normally is located in the supercharger itself. Most superchargers will have a hex nut located on the front of the supercharger. This area is used to drain and fill up the supercharger oil. You cannot use just any synthetic oil, you will have to use "Supercharger Oil"
The most common and normal signs will be: * Oil leakage from the supercharger * Supercharger making a knocking noise * Lower or no boost pressure * Oil not present inside the supercharger

supercharger oil for 2002 pontaic Bonneville ssi what is it and what is the best oil to replace it with?
Do not spray any cem. into the supercharger. This will strip the teflon coating on the supercharger rotors. However you do need to change the oil out in the supercharger. There is a little plug located by the pulley. It is a hex bolt and you need to undo it and then suck the oil out of it. You will then need to fill the oil back up just below the plug. Make sure you use the special supercharger oil called. "Supercharger oil" from GM. Thank you, From www.SuperchargersOnline.com

To change the supercharger oil on a 1997 Oldsmobile LSS, start by locating the supercharger's oil fill plug, usually found on the side of the supercharger unit. Remove the plug and use a pump to extract the old oil from the supercharger reservoir. Once drained, replace it with the appropriate supercharger oil, ensuring it's filled to the correct level as specified in the owner's manual. Finally, reattach the fill plug securely and check for leaks.
