Sounds like it thru a belt. I'm guessing the idler pulley froze up and thru the belt off. Don't run it anymore until it is fixed, overheating can cause serious damage.
The Battery? No, not typically the battery. That means that the alternator is not charging the battery and IF the engine is running, it's getting all of it's electrical energy from the battery. It means that once the battery charge is depleted, the engine won't run again until you recharge the battery.
you ether have a broke wire in the steering coloumn or your key switch is no good, or you just may have a dirty wire at the battery or on your starter
3 reasons either the starter is not getting power from the solenoid, solenoid is not getting power from the battery or starter is burned up.
If the lights in the car come on, then at least part of the system is getting power. Check the battery connections again. Then check the starter solenoid and starter to insure that they are getting power and are working properly.
Sounds like your battery was weak to start with. What you did should not have caused any problems if your battery was in good condition so without seeing it, I think you should remove your battery and have your battery charged and load tested.
No he is not getting it everywhere.
Hey Roy== It is grounded through the steering box. If it has a rag universal joint there is supposed to be a ground wire to cross the joint. GoodluckJoe On a Cavalier, always check the ground wire going from battery negative to the plate under the battery. That connection gets dirty and fails, and everything including the steering shaft gets its ground through that. If you are getting low voltage at your steering shaft, that connection is likely the problem.
Steering/suspension components worn? Bad steering rack? Power steering pump getting weak?
liberty island by getting the liberty pass from the wifi event
Battery is getting old and will not hold a charge or there is a drain on it. Battery is getting old and will not hold a charge or there is a drain on it.
I don't know. By getting on it?
The battery light will be illuminated on the dashboard and later the battery will go flat as it is not getting charged Garages can check this for you if your battery is frequently getting flat.
Steering rack worn? Power steering pump going bad? Worn steering or suspension components? Frozen steering shaft?
Can't say for sure but I can tell you that I am learning more as I pursue the repair of my 03 Liberty for, you guessed it- a power steering leak. First stop: the garage. The hose is quite elaborate and cost $236. plus about $150 to replace so I am a bit bummed out. $400 for an drip drip seems a bit painful. I have asked around and am getting a "common for Chrysler products" type of answer. Definitely the loudest squeeling power steering system when its cold (ie -15 celsius or lower). I am investigating using synthetic power steering fluid as it has been suggested as a possible squeel reducer. Good luck with yours. Vince
paint vertically with your brush
depends on what way you are testing it but you either have a bad connection between the alternator and the battery or your battery is bad and cant hold the charge what voltage are you getting
If you are interested in getting a 12 volt battery for your car you should go to your local car workshop in your nearest City. They can help you getting a new battery.
