Sounds like you need a Chiltons book which you can reference at your local library. They have all the schematics on all vehicles made. When it first started with problems if it cranked without running down the battery, sounds like it was getting enough juice from the electrical system. Sound like more of a gas issue to me. Check the float, butterfly, gas filter anything that has to do with gas getting to the carb. Could be bad fuel pump, too. Something sounds clogged. Give it a tune up too. If there is a way for you to get it to Discount/Advanced auto they do diagnostics for free. Which most places charge for, they hook up a little computer to the fuse systems and get a read out. Get your local phone book out and call around to service stations, I was lucky to find one that did it for free, too. The places that charge for it cost $50-75.00 which is a rip off, according to my mechanic because it takes less then 5 minutes to hook up and get results but you know how that goes. I know you may not be able to start it but if you have AAA or any family members have AAA they may be willing to tow it for free to and from for you to get it looked at...Good luck.
I'd call a locksmith. The ignition wil probably have to be drilled and replaced.
have you replaced and or tested both coils? are you getting no spark on the intake and the exaust sides?
are the wires good? Plugs?
You didn't mention whether you've changed the coil wire itself. If it's faulty, you'll get no spark anywhere. Also, the power supply to the coil or module could be at fault.

the wires from the ignition switch need to be replaced.
did you have your ignition coil replaced? the signs are that the ignition coil is overheating thus you are able to restart after an hour, when the coil cools. also check if your ignition coil has a resistor. if it has, have it checked for continuity. did you have your ignition coil replaced? the signs are that the ignition coil is overheating thus you are able to restart after an hour, when the coil cools. also check if your ignition coil has a resistor. if it has, have it checked for continuity.
