The battery is located under the air intake on the passenger side of the car, here's were it gets fun (as in stupid)
Remove the passenger front tire
unscrew the plastic cover (it has slits like a gill)
Pull the battery from that compartment unhooking negative first, sliding out, then positive.
Voila you done!
I think I answered my own question. My left headlight recently died, so when I replaced the headlight suddenly the problem went away. I'll post again if the problem returns.

1) Is the body in good shape? (No rust, etc) 2) Do you like the car? 3) Has it been reliable? (It's a Honda, so it must have been) If yes, then replace the engine (but then I'm a car nut). If you don't want to put that much money into the car by rebuilding the motor, you can always get a motor from the junkyard.

There was not a 1999 Honda Accord LXi made. Do you have a 1989 Honda Accord LXi?
Similar problem on my 1997 Sebring LXi. You may want to clean or replace your EGR valve (Exhaust Gas Recirculation). It's located between the firewall and engine. Very simple to replace.
