What makes you think it's the temp sensor? It sounds more like a stuck thermostat, faulty water pump or plugged radiator.
yes, but you need to get rid of all of the dex-cool first... needs flushed really really good then you can replace the cool with normall cool (green). Now there are some Universal Antifreeze that will mix with dex-cool. that coolant says on the bottle ANY COLOR, ANY MAKE, ANY MODEL....
If the reservoir is blocking the way, then it will have to be removed.
Your thermostat is getting stuck, replace it.
Replace the engine coolant temperature sensor. Your car has two, replace the one with the 2 wire connector
u need to replace the heater core in your car
most likely you need to replace te heater core.generally i if the leak is on engine you wont smell it in the car
no you need to replace temperature sinding unit
The engine is not reaching normal operating temperature. Replace the thermostat.
first check to make sure your fan comes on. if it does then there are several things that could be wrong. first do you have enough water/antifreeze in the radiatior. check to make sure you have no leaks. then replace the thermostat located in the top radiator belt housing connected to the motor. if it still overheats try replacing the water pump. if it still overheats after that check your oil to see if theres water in it if there is you blew a head gasket
No.
If the temperature gauge rises quickly when you start your car, it probably needs antifreeze. Watch out when you fill the radiator. If antifreeze starts pouring from some random place under the engine, then your freeze plugs are probably shot. Cheap part to replace -- about $5. But the labor cost ... Ouch ...
You drain it out and replace with new.
Either an air lock or a faulty switch at the stat. If its not using water i would replace the sender (switch). Hope this helps.
replace head, head gasket, and head bolts.
It's telling you that your vehicle is not reaching normal operating temperature quickly enough. You most likely need to replace the thermostat.
you replace that with coolant in the summer or hot areas
Failed seal. Replace it.
