it depends on how wet it is, and how your camera is designed. the concept is for the water to vaporize and be absorbed by the rice. they're may be some spots where the water cannot escape in vapor rendering it useless. just keep it in a hot area for as long as possible, but id use something other than rice to absorb the moisture. i put things in front of a window or some sort of glass enclosed area that takes in alot of sunlight. i first try to dry the device off as much as possible before doing this. if any power hits a wet component, it will damage the device so dont get too anxious to see if it works
rice
If it didn't get wet for very long just simply dry it with an everyday sort of thing (cloth, tea towel etc.) and it should be OK if you leave it for a bit. If you find something does go wrong and the contents of it are important, you can simply remove the cover, no screwdrivers needed but in an ordinary way, take the memory card out and insert it into a new camera. This info is for a camcorder that WAS NOT ON. If it was on, it has no suggestion of being saved and it would be too dangerous to take the memory card out so you shall have to accept it has gone.

15 to 20 mins, or longer if u can keep at it.
As long as there's no meat mixed in with it, it should keep for up to a week and a half in the fridge. It goes dry the longer you keep it in there, though.
If you intend to follow a recipe using long grain rice in the place of Minute Rice, you should cook the long grain rice first. If you don't, the rice will be under-cooked.
As long as the rice is cooked for the correct length of time, you should have what you need for sushi rice.

You will not get the same consistency, but you should be able to do it. You can cook rice in the same manner regardless of the type. It shouldn't take as long to cook.

keep it sealed in a baggy and keep it in dry rice. keep it sealed in a bag and put the bag in dry rice.
Put it in a large bag of rice for four days and take the battery out of the camera (but the battery goes in the rice as well). DO NOT TURN IT ON or try to use a blow dryer. I know it seems a little weird, but it totally works. It worked for me. The rice soaks up the moisture.
