You will have to have it scanned for codes, check with your parts house. They may scan for you.
sounds like an electrical problem, try replacing the cam position sensorand check the coils
The engine computer, next to the battery, is the ignition module.
I had the problem with my 2000 regal 2x. They replaced the ignition, which did not work. I went up north and a friend worked at the gm dealer. He said it was the solenoid in the shifter. He replaced the shifter and guess what, it worked!! AnswerActually, I had this happen to my 94 sable and I was trying to get the key out for a while. Make sure the car is in PARK or the key won't come out.
That means you ignition is lock but its not a BIG problem. Just unlock it.
how DO YOU REMOVE AN IGNITION CYLINDER FROM A MALIBU CHEVROLET 2000
There is about three ignition coils , one for each 2 valves ...
The ignition coils are located on top of every single sparkplug ( on distributorless engines).
The ignition module is right underneath the ignition coils. The ignition coils are what the spark plugs attach to. My alro was riding really rough so i just changed my coils and module for $200 and it runs like new. All you do is unplug the wires, unscrew the coils(6 bolts) and there is your module. :) Hope this helps!!

locate cylinders 2000 rx300?
The car has two coils they sit on the sparkplugs for cylinders 1&2. There are wires which go to cylinders 3&$ from the coils.
I work at a Nissan dealership & a technician says this is the code for the ignition coils
Yes, its inside the coil interface (the thing that the two coils are sitting on)
In the center back of the engine top, he has three coils, one of each is for two cilinders, they are mounting on ignition module, they looks like unique assembly, but really you could replace separately if you prefer.
One per plug.
Replacing ignition coils will not guarantee that your misfiring codes will disappear nor that it will solve the problem. I had the same problem in my 2000 CE and so far, after replacing spark plugs, wires, coils and testing the fuel injectors haven't been able to fix the problem. However if you want to replace the coils it is rather simple. It has 3 coils located on top in front of the engine. Detach the wires and unscrew the bolts and you should be able to pull them out and replace them in the same way.
No, what you have to do is buy a front coil and a rear coil because the two are slightly different. If you have a scan tool, you can interchange the front and rear coils until the 1320 ignition code is gone.
