I am having the same problem.... I know what it is finally. My fuel line(gas is leaking out) very slowly because of the rust. Anyway. They dont sell the fuel lines anymore. not even after market. Best bet is to find a junk yard with a fairy decent one.... good luck.
The oil filter on the 1998 MPV is on the side of the block. It screws on and is easily replaced.
Next, check the fuse and the relay. You may need to refer to a service manual for the relay location.
to keep it simple do a tranny pan drob and replace tranny filter, this may or may not correct the problem
The 1993 Ford Probe oil filter can be found on the left side of the engine. The oil filter will be near the oil pan. The oil filter is easily seen from the bottom of the engine looking up.

if changing the fuel filter, and it still stalls out. you have a problem with the fuel not getting to engine.
If the vehicle has not been tuned up for a while, check the air filter fuel filter and the spark plugs. It sounds like you have a problem either getting fuel or getting air.
Usually the filter in the vehicles A/C is not the problem. Usually the problem is the vehicles A/C condenser and be fixed easily and cheaply. Check for a replacement condenser at your local autoparts store.
