I bought this movie on VHS many years ago because the dog looked like my American Eskimo Dog. However on the jacket of the VHS tape, it says that the dog in the movie is an Australian Sheppard or Aussie. Most Aussies are not white - it is not a desirable color pattern in the breed as many of them are deaf and/or blind. However they are not uncommon, despite the fact that breeders try to avoid producing them.
