The Holden HK is built in Australia. The firing order is 1, 2, 7, 8, 4, 5, 6, 3. The number 1 cylinder is in the front on the right as you face the vehicle.

The firing order for all air cooled VW engines is 1-4-3-2, the cylinder numbers are spelled out on the cylinder sheetmetal near the spark plugs.
