it really could be a number of things, but more than likely its either the idle air control valve that is sticking, or your Transmission Fluid is dirty. When your transmission fluid is dirty or has particles in it, the car will idle rough and seem to want to turn off, once it warms up and the gunk glogging the transmission filter is stirred up, the car will seem to run fine. If you let the car cool and that gunk re-settles, it will do it again.

COULD be many things; check the easy/inexpensive ones first; bad/loose plug wire. Clogged fuel filter. If you totally depress the gas pedal and hold it down while cranking, the fuel that may be collected in the cold-start injector will drain - SHOULD even start if the problem is a partially clogged filter.

Your thermostat is most likely bad. It controls the flow of warm water into your heater core which warms your air. Its a common problem in winter and an easy fix.
The computers in the 1990-1995 have bad capacitors and they can cause a no start. Every easy to fix though. Check out Suzuki Forums. com On_mitch
The reason that your 1996 Caprice might start when its warm out but not when it's cold is because, when the air is cold, it is easy for the car to freeze. Sometimes it just takes a while, and all cars tend to have trouble with this on occasion.?æ
Because the ability of water to dissolve CO2 goes down as the water increases in temperature. This is easy to see by leaving a can of soda out. The soda will lose its carbonation as it warms to room temperature.
it will do 100km/hr easy
No. It's very easy.

check fuel pressure. change fuel filter first.
There's no trick are easy fix for that. You must pull the transmission out and have a trained mechanic rebuild it.
try putting your bike in gear and rocking it back and forth...its called priming the piston..only way i can start my ktm cold
Sounds like a problem i had with a Honda Goldwing motorbike, we stripped the engine down, had various experts look at it, all of them said the bike was dead. Found out there was a crack in a pipe, I can't remember the exact name of it but it was related to the water cooling for the engine, crack in the pipe letting the water out so the engine overheated and wouldn't start. I'd check your water, then you pipes.
First check the battery. Sounds like it might be dead. If it isn't the battery, it could be the starter relay. They are pretty easy to replace.
