Why does Hyundai Sonata stall in gear Sometimes it stalls on Stop signs. Other times it will make missing sounds with RPM faltering. I have replaced EGR MAF Sensor and Fuel Cap. No fixes so far?

If it is an automatic it could be the torque converter lock up not turning off as you come to a stop. It would feel like coming to a red light in a standard shift and not pushing in the clutch as you came to a stop.

sounds like you need a new fly wheel, the fly weel must be missing teeth so when you try and start it it doesn't catch the first time but might catch the next.
