Sounds like a plugged catalytic converter. Or muffler resonator assembly. Either way, your exhaust is not getting out of your tailpipe at the rate it was designed to flow. You will ruin your exhaust valves driving it this way. Very expensive to repair, better get this fixed.
Some (front wheel drive) cars have a flexible piece of pipe that connects the exhaust manifold to rest of the exhaust system. The length of pipe is designed to allow the engine to rock back and forth on its mounts. Without the flex joint, the movement of the engine would damage the rest of the exhaust system.
I'M NOT A MECHANIC but if I'm reading this right it is a heated oxygen sensor , (bank 2 , sensor 1 ?) Which would be the heated oxygen sensor on the driver's side of the engine , either screwed into the exhaust manifold or into the exhaust pipe near the engine. (Helpfull)
Bank 2 is passenger side sensor 2 is the rearmost sensor on that side in the pipe. Sensor 1 should be in the manifold. Bank 2 is passenger side sensor 2 is the rearmost sensor on that side in the pipe. Sensor 1 should be in the manifold.
Not necessarily, adding duel exhaust will not increase the performance of a mower. It would require the exhaust port to be bigger and require a bigger pipe to be used.
There's alot of ways you can test your vehicle for head gasket ,but the best way would be a cylinder leakage test, because once you see bubbles going into your coolant reservoir/over flow tank confirms this issue .This is a DIY job
Usually oxygen sensors are what would be screwed into the exhaust manifold.Usually oxygen sensors are what would be screwed into the exhaust manifold.
I would say NO. I had cherry bomb exhaust on my GMC Sierra installed by a professional exhaust technician who recommended the cherry bomb.
It is unlikely that you would be able to buy a manifold (inlet or exhaust) as a single item. Most come packaged as a top end set. The cost would be about £20.00 in the UK, for genuine manufacturers parts. Other brands would be cheaper.
exhaust?
what is the cost of repair of Toyota 4runner exhaust manifold
true dual exhaust would mean that each pipe would be atached to an exhaust manifold of its own. It might be a v6 or v8 or as in the old days an inline 6 whith a split manifold was popular.
asuming the vehicle has a 4 cylinder, the exhaust manifold would be facing the radiator. 6 cyl. would also have one facing the firewall. You can figure it out simply by tracing your exhaust system from back to front. tail pipe - muffler - exhaust pipe - catalytic converter - exhaust pipe - exhaust manifold - engine.
Need to know if it is the intake manifold or an exhaust manifold and what is wrong with it.
It would be a waste of time and money. You would have to make a special adapter to hook the exhaust to the manifold. On a turbo header, the exhaust hooks to the turbo and the turbo to the manifold.
i header is much better than a manifold better it will give you increased air flow horse power and gas mileage
that would be either your catalytic converter or your resignator pipe.
The year, engine size and if it is the intake manifold or an exhaust manifold gaskets would help.
