This happened to mine, and it turns out that theres alot of debris on the bottom of the tank that got sucked up when you ran out, so you need to replace the fuel filter under the car, near the drivers rear wheel. if that doesnt work your lines are clogged up which is a big problem
Some vehicles will suck up debris from the tank when it totally runs out of gas and this will clog up a fuel filter and prevent it from starting. Try a new fuel filter.
hmmmm I don't know did you check the fuel distributor, try putting starting fluid where the AIR intake is then try to start it if it wants to start but doesn't you know it is something with the fuel.
Make sure connections are on tight.
Segregation is still in the us today and it started in 1550!! When slavery ended it still had racial segregation we don't know the exact year it started but it ended in 1967
Either your starter solenoid, if not check the neutral safety or clutch safety switch.
check for loose connections
could be fuel starvation
I have a 1997 Mazda B2300 that was having the same problem. When I went to have the emission done it failed. One of the codes on the print out was a possible issue with the Idle Control Valve. I replaced it and that has solved the issue of the high rev when I shift. Still not passing emission though. Hope this helps.
Check your timing, if it goes out of time a small margin it won't start properly or not at all.
The 2011 version of the Mazda RX8 was the last model produced by Mazda. Models of the Mazda RX8 are still available for purchase and can be found online.

2002 mazda ,,gauges are still working after taking out key..any ideas
If you checked the switch, fuse and bulbs the only thing it could be is a open ground. Find the ground wire on the bulb socket and check for continuity. With a tester put one wire one the ground at the socket and the other on the neg. battery terminal
Well Mazda was owned by three CO. Mazda, Ford, and the Bank of Japan. Ford has sold alot of there shares recently but they still are partal owners. Michael
