There are three fuse block in the Z, one by the drivers feet, one at the front of the battery and the hidden one is behind and to the right of the battery (looking from the front of the car). You need to take off the battery cover and remove the 5 plastic retaining push bolts using a flat bladed screw driver - lever up the middle part and the the whole thing pushes out. Once removed take off the plastic surround. Next take out the remaining two push bolts - one on the left and one on the right. Now remove this cover as well. This frees up the plastic trim directly beneath the windcreen which pops off starting from the left hand side then by pulling the whole trim sideways towards the front of the car/engine. The hidden fuse block should now be obvious, its between the battery, the passneger side wing and the bottom corner of the windscreen, gently rock the cover off and pull up revealing all the fuses! The side lights/licence plate fues is the 10A on the top left - check the writing on the cover you took off to check. Hope this helps! Look out for me, The Hoff, on 350z-uk.com for any more help. Added to that, and assuming that you're asking because your license plate light is out, and because the fuse is the same fuse for the tail lights, then the problem is not the fuse. It's the license plate light itself. === It should be the same fuse as the taillights.
If your license plate light is out change the bulb in it, if you have taillights your fuse is good as the license plate light uses the same fuse as the taillights.
