To remove the engine from a 1996 Mazda Millenia, first disconnect the battery and drain the engine oil and coolant. Next, remove the necessary components such as the air intake, exhaust, and any accessory belts. Support the engine with a hoist, detach the engine mounts, and then disconnect wiring harnesses and hoses. Finally, lift the engine out of the engine bay carefully.
Its in the car.
Should be a 15" wheel. My 96 was.
Remove the neg battery cable for 30 seconds. This should work on all pre '96 cars as long as there are no more problems with the car.
It should be within the water outlet which is attached to the lower end of the top radiator hose. Mark If the 96 millennia has a 2.3 engine, the thermostat is in the bottom radiator hose at the housing on the block.
Mazda did. in japan. unlike the 626, which is made in the usa, the millenia was built in japan. the difference is quality is huge. we had a 96 626. one of the worst cars we have ever owned. built like a Buick. rattles, squeaks, pieces fall off, running problems. the millenia is the complete opposite. fit and finish is superb. excellent power, brakes, quiet, smooth. everything a Buick wants to be.
29's - i have a 97 millenia and i had to visit the parts dept. at my local Mazda dealership with my registration in order to have an extra key made. my dealer had to send out for the key because it is cut differently from other keys and it cost me about 75 dollars.
not transmission fuel problem change your fuel pump and screen everybody thinks its the transmission i did too once upon a time
This is usually a bad coil pack. This cylinder is located in the middle back. I had a lot of dealers that didn't know and some manuals are wrong. They run 1,3,5 on the back.
I had a similar problem with my 96 Millenia S . Just quit (wouldn't start). then started again. then wouldn't. and so on. Ended up being the fuel pump. Yeah, ouch.
